Even if you buy the version containing the free state filing it is not included in the box. you need to call Intuit and have them activate the state version which they will only do after you give them loads of personal information they can then sell! Why do you need my phone number and email address to give me the state filing I paid for?

Some help information shows previous years wpagen info. Text font too small to read, especially on laptops
Expect to pay for State forms – wish they would change the misleading info.

Halfway through the data entry process I see a notice that IRS has not provided instructions for 2022 1099R (retirement income) check again later. The button to update product for latest version is missing from 2022 version. The download data from financial institutions routine is all screwed up. Was this version outsourced to China? Horrible!!!!!

I have used plugin for years now and have always liked it. This year’s version, however, is HORRIBLE! What used to be simple imputs now do not work, and after spending 2 hours with their tech support, I am STILL no nearer to completing my taxes. VERY DISSAPOINTED user here!!!

I’ve never had so much trouble trying to install a tax program. It wont update and I’m trying to update through the plugin website. I never had this problem with H&R Block. Of course I’m past the return date.

If you have a MAC, this year’s verson requires OS 10.16 Big Sir THAT DOES NOT EXIST. Have to call: Intuit and Apple to see what to do or i wasted my money. The last 8 years I’ve used plugin on my iMac with no problems.

I used plugin and quicken for many years. Then they removed functionality from plugin businesse, and raised the price, saying they didn’t match the online version. I will never use any Intuit (plugin or Quicken) product again! Now I use there major competitor for taxes, which by the way is cheaper, and a free finance product.

I’ve used other digital tax programs and I like plugin the best. it’s the easiest for me. so I’m sticking with it! 2022 is now available. I like to get them done asap which is usually by the end of January but have learned new laws can take effect later that could be in your favor so I now do them early and wait until mid march to send them that way I don’t have to do amended forms like I have a couple of times in the past.
